Welcome to Wash & Shine Car Wash. By purchasing a single-use wash pass, subscribing to a recurring wash membership, or using our services and website (erincarwash.ca), you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Overview & Service Types
Wash & Shine Car Wash provides two types of wash options for customers:
- One-Time Wash Passes / Single Wash Purchases: A single, non-recurring purchase valid for one (1) wash session per purchase.
- Recurring Wash Memberships ("Wash Club" / "Unlimited Pass"): A monthly or recurring subscription plan allowing eligible vehicles to receive car wash services under the specific terms of the selected plan.
2. Recurring Wash Membership & Automatic Billing Policy
- Automatic Renewal: By purchasing a Recurring Wash Membership, you authorize Wash & Shine Car Wash to charge your payment card automatically on a recurring monthly basis on the same calendar day of each month (your "Billing Date").
- Payment Authorization: If your monthly billing date falls on a date that does not occur in a given month (e.g., the 31st), you will be billed on the last day of that month.
- Price Changes: Wash & Shine Car Wash reserves the right to modify monthly membership pricing. You will be notified of any fee changes at least thirty (30) days prior to your next renewal date via email or website notice.
- Failed Payments: If a recurring payment fails due to expiration, insufficient funds, or card cancellation, your membership may be suspended or deactivated immediately until updated payment details are provided.
3. One-Time Wash Passes
- Validity & Usage: Single-use passes or one-time wash purchases are valid only for the single vehicle service selected at the time of purchase.
- Expiration: Unless otherwise stated on the pass or promotional material, single-use digital or print passes expire 30 days from the date of purchase.
- Non-Transferable: Single-use promotional passes or codes cannot be redeemed for cash or combined with other discounts unless explicitly stated.
4. Vehicle Eligibility & Identification
- Single Vehicle Use: Monthly memberships are assigned to one (1) designated vehicle and are non-transferable between multiple vehicles.
- Identification Methods: Access to membership benefits may be tracked via License Plate Recognition (LPR), RFID windshield tags, or digital pass codes. RFID tags or digital passes remain the property of Wash & Shine Car Wash. Tampering with or transferring credentials to another vehicle will result in immediate termination of the membership without refund.
- Commercial Vehicle Restrictions: Standard memberships are intended for personal, non-commercial use only. Taxis, ride-share vehicles (Uber/Lyft), limousines, and commercial fleet vehicles are prohibited from purchasing personal monthly memberships unless enrolled under an official Fleet Account.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellation Request Window: You may cancel your monthly recurring membership at any time. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, cancellation requests must be submitted at least 5 days prior to your next scheduled Billing Date.
- How to Cancel: Cancellations can be completed by logging into your account at erincarwash.ca or contacting customer service.
- No Partial Refunds: Membership fees are paid in advance and are non-refundable. There are no prorated refunds or credits provided for partially used billing periods, lack of use, or temporary closures due to severe weather, maintenance, or holidays.
- Access Post-Cancellation: Following a cancellation request, your membership will remain active through the end of your current paid billing period.
6. Vehicle Damage Disclaimer & Limits of Liability
By entering the car wash facility, you acknowledge and agree that Wash & Shine Car Wash is not responsible for pre-existing damage or damages resulting from non-standard vehicle configurations.
We are NOT responsible for damage to:
- Non-factory / aftermarket accessories (spoilers, body kits, bug shields, roof racks, light bars).
- Pre-existing loose, cracked, rusted, or damaged parts (mirrors, wipers, trim, paint, antennae).
- Power antennas that are not fully retracted before entry.
- Vehicles over 15 years old or vehicles with pre-existing mechanical issues.
- Driver error (e.g., improper steering, braking, or accelerating inside an automated bay or tunnel).
7. Modifications to Terms & Services
Wash & Shine Car Wash reserves the right to alter, modify, or terminate any wash plan, program perk, operating hours, or these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on erincarwash.ca, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of all modified terms.
